eNom® ETP Pricing Tier Adjustment in Response to Registry Price Increase
Domain registries VeriSign, Afilias, Neulevel and Public Interest Registry (PIR) have notified all ICANN accredited registrars that they will be raising their wholesale prices. As a consequence, eNom® will be adjusting its ETP pricing tiers effective Tuesday, September 30, 2008 as follows:
| ETP Pricing Tiers | Old Domain Pricing Tier (year) | New Domain Pricing Tier (year) |
| PREMIER | $7.45 | $7.95 |
| VOLUME | $8.45 | $8.95 |
| BASIC | $9.45 | $9.95 |
| ALTERNATIVE | $10.45 | $10.95 |
The exchange rate and value of your eNom® Points will remain the same - each point is redeemable for domain names or web services at the rate of 1 point = $1.00. All ETPs will be notified of this adjustment by email on Friday, August 29, 2008. Notifications are sent to the registered email address within your account profile. If you did not receive this email, please review your account profile and update your email addresses if necessary. What if I missed the email? View it here.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Which TLDs are affected by the new pricing tiers?
- Based upon your current ETP pricing tier (Premier, Volume, Basic, and Alternative), the following TLD prices are being changed: .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .us, and .name.
- When will the new ETP pricing begin?
- All price increases will go into effect starting on Tuesday, September 30, 2008.
- How will my customers be affected?
- Your clients will not be affected if you are doing your own billing and you do not use a sub-account structure.
- If you are using PDQ, Registry Rocket, or have a sub-account base, you will need to update your customers to meet the new minimum ETP pricing requirements (see minimum prices listed below). If your pricing does not meet the minimums by Tuesday, September 30, 2008, eNom® will automatically adjust your pricing. We recommend you update your customers pricing prior to Tuesday, September 30, 2008.

- For Sub-Reseller accounts, the minimum "reseller" price you can set is either your cost or $8.95, whichever is higher. For Registry Rocket, PDQ, Default Retail, and Sub-Retail account pricing, you will need to set the "retail" cost to include the transaction fees. (See grid below)

| PREMIER | $7.95 | $9.18 | $8.95 |
